EDGE is a trading journal and analytics service operated by Žygimantas Ozolas (the “Operator”). In these Terms, “EDGE,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to the Operator. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of EDGE. By creating an account or otherwise using EDGE, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use EDGE.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement to use EDGE.
3. Accounts
You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that happens under your account.
Please notify us at support@joinedge.app if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. EDGE uses email verification and other authentication controls to help keep accounts secure.
4. What EDGE Provides
EDGE currently provides:
- Trade journaling, including screenshot attachments
- Daily journal entries
- Trading statistics, analytics and insights
- A Risk Calculator for forex and futures position sizing
EDGE's features may evolve over time. We may add, change or remove functionality as the product develops.
5. Important: Not Financial Advice
EDGE is a journal, analytics and informational software tool. EDGE does not provide investment advice, financial advice, trading signals, brokerage or trade execution, personalized recommendations, or any guarantee of profitability.
Statistics, insights, and Risk Calculator outputs are based on the data you enter, processed through mathematical and software calculations. They are not predictions and do not constitute advice. You remain solely responsible for verifying your data, assessing your own risk, deciding whether and how to trade, and complying with your broker's or exchange's rules.
6. Risk Calculator
The Risk Calculator produces informational estimates based on the inputs you provide and the instrument specifications stored in EDGE. Your actual broker's calculations, order fills, commissions, slippage, margin requirements and market conditions may differ from these estimates. Always verify the numbers with your broker before placing a trade. No Risk Calculator result should be treated as a guarantee of permitted position size, available margin, trading outcome, or loss limitation.
7. User Content
You retain ownership of the trade notes, journal entries, screenshots and other content you submit to EDGE (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you grant EDGE a limited license to host, store, process, display it back to you, back it up, and use it to provide EDGE's features (such as analytics derived from your own data). You must have the right to upload any content you submit, including screenshots.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use EDGE for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to EDGE, other accounts, or our infrastructure
- Attack, disrupt, or attempt to compromise the security of EDGE
- Scrape or use automated tools in a way that harms EDGE
- Upload malicious content or distribute malware through EDGE
- Attempt to bypass account or access controls
- Infringe the rights of others
9. Subscription
When you purchase an EDGE subscription, payment is taken upfront for the billing period you select (monthly, 3 months or yearly). EDGE does not offer a permanent free trial. The price presented at checkout applies to your subscription, and applicable taxes are calculated and displayed by Paddle. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled.
Refund eligibility, including our 14 day refund window, is described separately in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
10. Paddle / Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
As Merchant of Record, Paddle handles payment processing, applicable taxes, subscription billing, and refunds or cancellations through its own buyer systems. Purchases are subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms and Paddle's Refund Policy, in addition to these Terms and our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

11. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation generally takes effect at the end of your current billing period, in accordance with Paddle's subscription terms. You keep access until that period ends, and you are not billed again after cancelling.
Cancelling your subscription is not the same as requesting a refund. Cancelling stops future renewal charges only; it does not automatically create or guarantee a refund for the current or a prior billing period. Refund eligibility is described separately in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
12. Refunds / Withdrawal Rights
Refunds and statutory withdrawal rights are described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy and in Paddle's Buyer Terms and Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights you have under applicable law.
13. Availability / Changes
We maintain and update EDGE on an ongoing basis, and may modify or discontinue features from time to time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Where a change materially affects paid subscribers, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate it in advance.
14. Intellectual Property
The EDGE service, including its software, branding, user interface, code, and non-user content, is owned by or licensed to the Operator. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use EDGE while your account is authorized and in good standing. As set out in Section 7, your own User Content remains yours.
15. Third-Party Services
EDGE depends on third-party services to operate, including Paddle, Supabase, Vercel and Google. These services have their own terms and privacy policies, which apply to the parts of the service they provide.
16. Suspension / Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to EDGE for a serious breach of these Terms, illegal or abusive use, security threats to EDGE or other users, or non-payment or expiry of a subscription. Where appropriate and legally required, we will give you notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy the issue first. You may delete or cancel your account at any time using the controls available in the app.
17. Disclaimers
EDGE is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, subject to applicable law. We do not promise that EDGE will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in this section is intended to exclude any warranty that cannot lawfully be excluded.
18. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Subject to that, EDGE is not liable for trading or investment losses that result from your own independent trading decisions merely because EDGE displayed journal statistics, insights, or Risk Calculator output to you. Your liability protections and remedies as a consumer under applicable law are not affected by this section.
19. Governing Law / Consumer Rights

If you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory protections afforded to you by the law of your country of residence, regardless of the governing law stated above.
20. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes to you, and changes will not retroactively remove any consumer rights you had already accrued.
